Happy Mid-October SCCPA members! Below are some timely chapter opportunities that the board wanted to call your attention to mid-month:

New SCCPA Podcast!

Breaking it Down Podcast graphic

SCCPA is proud to announce that we have launched our first podcast, “Breaking it Down!”. Co-hosted by our Diversity and Inclusion Chair Briahnna Ismail and Professional Development Chair Alison Fecher, this podcast serves as an ongoing discussion that breaks down diversity, equity, inclusion, and access in higher education. By showcasing what various South Carolina higher education professionals are doing within their own functional areas and networks to make for the betterment of students and colleagues, we hope listeners will be inspired to make localized changes as well.

Interested in serving as a guest or know someone that would be a great one? Submit one or more entries to our Guest Nomination Form! Guests do not have to be members of SCCPA to be featured. We want to showcase you and/or anyone you believe we should learn from!

Be on the lookout for new episode releases in this newsletter. Episode 1 featuring Briahnna and Alison is now available on Spotify and Anchor!
