SCCPA is the premier student affairs association in the state of South Carolina, and as an Internal Chapter of ACPA, membership brings increased benefits.  Professional development is vital to keeping ourselves current on trends and issues in higher education, which in turn allows us to provide our students with the best possible education.

Established in 1970, South Carolina college and university professionals, faculty, and graduate students have turned to the South Carolina College Personnel Association (SCCPA) for professional development, networking opportunities, leadership experience, and information on the latest trends and issues in our field.

SCCPA’s mission is to support its members and other professionals who serve students in South Carolina higher education institutions. In turn, SCCPA derives from its members a shared commitment to help colleges and universities provide a campus environment that promotes academic achievement and personal growth and development for all college students.

As of January 1, 2015, SCCPA, is an Internal Chapter of ACPA – College Student Educators International and joining SCCPA includes joining ACPA. The state membership fee is waived and there are promotional rates to join ACPA as a new member, or as a renewing member.

Please follow this ACPA/SCCPA membership link and choose to JOIN SCCPA through the Dual Membership request.
