As of January 1, 2015, SCCPA, is an Internal Chapter of ACPA – College Student Educators International and joining SCCPA includes joining ACPA. The state membership fee is waived and there are promotional rates to join ACPA as a new member, or as a renewing member.
Please follow this ACPA/SCCPA membership link and choose to JOIN SCCPA through the Dual Membership request.
SCCPA offers a variety of ways for higher education professionals to connect with each other and share knowledge to best serve our students. Members get involved with SCCPA in a variety of ways–you may want to contribute to a Twitter Chat, chair a committee, volunteer at an event, coordinate a social, or help lead the association. There are a variety of opportunities to engage in the organization and our SCCPA leadership team is excited to hear from you. Please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of the SCCPA family to get involved!
Still curious about specific things you can do to get involved? Here are a few ideas.
- Vote during the upcoming SCCPA board elections
- Run for a board position
- Join the Spring Drive-In or Fall Conference planning team
- Each spring and fall SCCPA hosts a statewide event at a different host institution or regional venue. Attend one of the city socials around the state.
